It was my year to plan what we were going to do for our anniversary. A lot of my family have been to the Johnson Mill so I thought I would give a try. So after the Ball Reunion my Mom took the kids back home. (Jaxon stayed at Bevin and Sharon's house and my parents took Brynlee for the night. Thanks to both sets of parents for watching them for us.) Josh and I went to Park City to shop for a while and then checked in at about 3:30pm or so. This place is absolutely the most beautiful place I think I have ever been. It is so relaxing and the views are breath-taking. They have paddle boats and a canoe. They have walking trails and you can even go fishing if you want. Josh and I had the Mt. Timpanogos room. It was so pretty inside. Our private balcony extended the whole length of the front of the house. I highly recommend this to whoever wants a nice, quite, tranquil spot to relax with the one you love.

Anniversary Get-Away
Ball Reunion
(I'm sorry this video didn't work. I really did get more than it shows but for some reason I can't get it to load.)
So this weekend we headed up to Heber to visit with family for the Ball Family Reunion. It was great fun. We played some games, ate, visited, relaxed, had a sleepover, and the kids (and a few adults) played in the water for a while on Saturday morning. Shanna brought her Slip-N-Slide and the kids had a blast. Thanks Shanna! Jaxon and Josh slept outside under the stars and kept quite warm. Jaxon was in 2 sleeping bags, 2 blankets and I put my sleeping bad over top the both of them. Jaxon loved it! Thanks to all who put it together. It turned out great!
Brynlee's First Meal
So we gave Brynlee her first meal on Thursday June 26th. She wasn't so sure about the whole idea of eating with a spoon but she did ok considering. She hadn't quite mastered the swallowing technique yet. The food goes in her mouth and her tongue pushes it right back out. She is getting much better though after a little practice. Here are a few pictures:

6 Month Old!!!
Well I took Brynlee to the doctor yesterday for her 6 month check up. He said she looks healthy. She is just a tiny little thing though. She weighed in at 12 lbs. 13 1/2 oz. and was 24 1/8 inches long. She is in the 3-5%. They couldn't believe how much hair she still has. And that it's long enough to put in pony tails. I guess I'm just not meant to have huge children.

Our 5th Anniversary!!!!
I just wanted to say Happy Anniversary to my sweet hubby. I am so blessed to have him in my life. I'm so lucky that he chose me. He is such a hard worker and a wonderful father to our children. I couldn't have asked for more. I can't believe it has been 5 years already. It seems like yesterday he was asking me to marry him! I love him so much. Thank you Josh for always being there for me and putting up with me. I love you!!!!!!!!
I love his smile in this picture. It is so sexy:) Don't tell him I said that though, I am constantly telling him to smile normal in pictures. (I don't want everyone else seeing the Sexy Smile. That is for me to enjoy and no one else :)
( I'm sorry the picture is so goofy. I had to scan it and this is how it came up.)

Sitting Up!!!!!
Brynlee is getting pretty good at sitting up by herself. I have to put the boppy behind her because she bangs her head pretty hard if it's not there. I just thought I'd let you see for yourself.
Sprinkler Time!!!!!!
Now that it is hot outside I decided to take Jaxon out and let him run through the sprinklers. We didn't have anything fancy so he got the old fashion sprinkler head. Although, I don't think he cares one way or the other. Josh went to the store the other day and bought a cute little ring thing that sprays water out of holes in the top of the ring. Jaxon enjoys the water no matter where it's coming from.
He is a brave little thing.
Everytime he runs into the water it makes him catch his breath because of how cold it is.
I finally braved the backyard the other day. I picked up the dog doo-doo and let Jaxon play.
He gets cold very quickly and this is his favorite way to warm up.

Wheeler Farm!!
So on Saturday we took the kids to Wheeler Farm. Jaxon thought is was just as neat as the Zoo and this place is free. I'm thinking we will be spending more time here that the Zoo:)
Jaxon thought the ducks were awesome! He still hasn't stopped talking about them.
Just a cute picture of my 3 favorite people.
A little boy on a mission!!
Just chillin' in the sun. (Look at those fat thighs)
Pics of Brynlee!
Here are a few recent pics of my sweet little princess. I think she is the cutest thing EVER!!
This is how she gets around. If you notice not one part of her back is touching the ground. She does this and then pushes with her feet and scoots where ever she wants to go. However she finally ROLLED OVER from her back to her tummy on June 12th!!!!!!!!!! She still won't roll over the other way but at least she rolled over, that's all I can ask for right now.
This is one of Jaxon's fun little games. He loves to put things on her head. It's a good thing she's a good sport.
Happy Father's Day!!!!!!
I just quickly wanted to wish all the father's a Happy Father's Day. I know that I'm a little late but this is the soonest I have been able to get on here. To my Dad I love you and am so grateful for all that you do for my family. You have been so helpful and I love how you play with my kids just like they were your own. I love you Dad.
I also just wanted to let Josh know what a wonderful dad he is to our kids. He comes home from a hard days work and always can find the time and energy to play with Jaxon or to love on Brynlee. He is such a great example and I hope my kids can grow up to be just like him. I love you Josh.

Tag!
I am: Glad I'm home!
I think: I need a nap
I know: The Church is true!
I want: To have a car that I can drive
I have: A sick child
I wish: I had more patience with my children
I hate: when I call an old friend to "catch up," they act like they are too busy to talk, even though I have just as many things going on in my life as they do theirs.
I miss: My old body
I fear: That something bad will happen to someone close to me, especially my children or husband.
I feel: Happy to have such wonderful kids
I hear: Jaxon crying
I smell: Brynlee
I crave: Almost anything that is delicious!
I search: For clothes that will look good on me
I wonder: what I'm going to cook every night of the week
I regret: Making poor choices when I was young. (None that were too bad but still)
I love: My husband and kids
I care: what others think about me
I want: gas prices to come down!!!
I am not: as good of a mom as I want to be
I believe: that kids can sense anger and stress and it can change the way they act as they grow
I dance: with Jaxon everyday
I sing: in the car, in my house, and even when there is no music playing!
I don’t always: pick up my dirty clothes right away
I fight: with myself, Josh doesn't really fight. We disagree, not fight.
I write: appts down
I win: all arguements, if you ask me that is.
I lose: all arguements if you ask Josh
I never: swear
I listen: to Jaxon when he talks to me
I can usually be found: at home
I am scared: of how difficult life is going to be for my kids as they grow.
I need: a nap
I am happy about: the choice I made to marry my husband
If you want to do this, then "TAG! YOU'RE IT!"

Girls Weekend Away
Well my little sister Felicia graduated this past Tuesday from High School so for her graduation trip we took a girls weekend to St. George. I left my kids with Josh and off we went. It was alot of fun. We went shopping, played at the pool, ate lots of icecream, and got pedicures. When I got home my house was clean and my kids were dressed and happy. I guess I should give Josh more credit. He did a great job being Mr. Mom for the weekend. Love you honey!! Here are just a few pics we took.

This is after our pedicures. For those of you that can't stand the site of feet, I'm sorry for posting this picture:)
Baby Doll!
Jaxon's new thing is to push the stroller wherever we go. This is only if we take this particular stroller. I put Brynlee in here just so she would have a place to sit while Jaxon and I played outside and Jaxon decided he wanted to stroll her around the yard. After about 20 minutes of this I was sick and can only imagine what Brynlee felt like going in circles for that long. I think maybe he thinks she is his baby doll rather than sister. Cute little kids I might add!
