A house full of sickies!!!

So this last week hasn't been our most healthy! Brynlee came down with Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease due to a boy in her preschool coming to class with it. So she got the rash on Thursday and by Friday Bridger got it. By Saturday he looked pretty much like this. Sorry for the bum shot. You can't really tell how bad they are in this pic but he wouldn't hold still long enough to really get a good shot.

Jaxon came down with a fever and vomiting on Friday and continued with the vomiting through Sunday. Brynlee felt great today (Monday) until about 2:30 when she started complaining of a tummy ache. And sure enough, by 3:30 her lunch was on my couch and carpet. The poor thing is just so sick. I put her in the bath tub to soak and get cleaned up and left her there for about 3 minutes or so. When I called to her asking if she was doing ok I didn't get an answer. I rushed in there to see what the matter was and this is what I found!

She was sound asleep! The cute little thing was just laying on her tummy 2 min. before this and she must have rolled over and fell asleep. I sure hope all my kids get feeling better really soon. I'm trying to clean/disinfect my house but there is only so much you can do when they are still sick. Fun times!

Birthdays, Birthdays, and more Birthdays!!

Ok so I know this is alot of pictures but I don't know how to make a collage so this is how I have to do it. Brynlee's b-day was after christmas. She turned 4! I can't believe how fast time flys. I just love this little girl to pieces! She makes me laugh all the time. Just today she was in my bathroom talking to her Little Mermaid. Little Mermaid had been naughty so she put her in the corner to think about what she had done. After a few minutes she goes in and I can hear her having this conversation with Little Mermaid:
Brynlee: Little Mermaid (LM), why were you being so naughty?
LM:(Brynlee is ofcourse talking for LM) I don't know.
Brynlee: Well that is not nice.
LM: I just want to be on Satan's team.
Brynlee: No, you don't want to be on Satan's team, you want to be on Jesus' team. That means you are good.
LM: But you said you weren't going to invite me to your birthday party so I just want to be mean.
Brynlee: Well if you're nice you can come to my birthday party but you have to be on Jesus' team.

She then comes to tell me that LM is going to start acting like Jesus and not satan.
I couldn't help but laugh. I'm not sure where she got the whole team thing from but it was pretty funny. Here are a few pics from her b-day!

She loved opening presents

This year she wanted a pink flower cake so that is what she got.

Blowing out her candles!

Next was Bridger's first b-day. I can't believe he's already 1! He too loved opening presents!

I made a monkey cake for him but the brown color didn't turn out the right color of brown. Oh well, he didn't care.

He couldn't quite figure out why people were all singing to him!

He wasn't neat with his cake. He grabbed it and bit right in! He LOVED it!

He ate it all gone! I just love that cute little face!

Next was Jaxon! He turned 6 this year! He is obsessed with Mario Bros. and insisted I make him a Mario cake. I'm no artist and I wasn't about to pay $30 or more just for the wilton cake mold so I had to just wing it. He liked and I think it turned out pretty good.

Jaxon got golf clubs so he can go golfing with his dad now. He was super excited about this gift!

And this was probably his favorite gift from relatives. Like I said before, he is OBSESSED with anything Mario.

That's all for now. I do have some other random stuff I'd like to post but I'll get around to that whenever I get the chance. See ya soon:)

Christmas

Christmas this year was great as usual! On Christmas Eve we went over to Josh's parents house and had a wonderful dinner of Prime Rib. It was delish:) Then we played Bingo, watched a quick church movie, opened PJ's and headed home in hopes of St. Nick visiting our home. It looks like he came! This was Jaxon's haul. (Those little things on the couch are a gazillion Mario Bros. figurines)

Bridger's haul. He doesn't look like he has much but the few big things must have cost Santa just as much to make as all the little things the other two got! (Sorry this pic is sideways)

Brynlee's haul. She told Santa she wanted a butterfly costume so she got 2! She LOVES them!

Waiting to go down to see what Santa brought. Josh made me sit up there too cause he got me a bike and had to bring it down the night before so I had to sit up there so I could get my surprise too! Aren't we all lovely??! After opening our gifts from each other we headed off to the Crowther's again for Breakfast and gifts. We went to church with Josh's parents since their church was the same time as ours and it was much easier to go there instead of driving all the way back home and then back out to my parents. After church we headed to my mom and dad's house to exchange gifts. Then off to my Grandma and Grandpa Fullmer's house for gifts, and the male female game. After that we had one last stop at my G & G Neff''s house. We got home around 7:00 and the kids were worn out. (So were we) It was a great, busy day, and we all got more than we could have asked for. I hope your Christmas was great too:)

Catch-Up

I'm really sorry I have been such a slacker all these months but I'm trying to get somewhat caught up. I've had all the kids b-days and christmas all within one month of each other but I'm trying to get things updated. I'm starting slow but in a few days everything will be up here. All these pictures are in the wrong order so you might want to scroll halfway down first to Jaxon starting preschool and then scroll to the top to finish it all off. Sorry! I'm not the best with this kind of stuff. Good luck!

Brynlee is a butterfly!

And technically Bridger wasn't old enough to get his face painted but the nice lady did a little something for us anyway.

Bridger (if I remember right) was suppose to be a cheetah.

Brynlee started dance this past fall and LOVES it! Isn't she the cutest thing ever?? I just want to eat her all up.

For Halloween this year the kids were the crew from Monsters Inc. Jaxon=Sully Brynlee=Boo and Bridger=Mike Wazowski. I was pretty happy with how they all turned out. I did have patterns for Jaxon and Bridgers costumes for the most part. I did have to add a little here and there and I painted the spots on Jaxon's costume. Bridger's was probably the most simple. I just had to draw, cut and sew the eye and mouth onto the front of his outfit that I had sewn earlier. Brynlee's was something I could never duplicate! I had to make it without a pattern and I'm still not sure how I got it to work, but it worked so that's all that matters I guess! But overall, I think they turned out fine.

Brynlee had her first dance performance in December. She did a fantastic job and didn't miss a beat. She was ofcourse the cutest one up there too:)

Jaxon's first day of Kindergarten. I can't believe he is that old! He loved it and continues to love it so that is great! He is so handsome!

He looks so serious here. I'm just happy to see that he's not the shortest in his class!

Introducing "Bridgette", our little cross-dresser. Isn't "she" a doll??! I could not stop laughing after I got that wig to stay on his head.

However, that cute little smile didn't last long and this is what we got until we got him out of that outfit.

Josh's work had a company party at the Zoo and they had face painting. The kids loved it, even after standing an hour in line!
