Picnic Time!!

Well I thought that since today was so nice we would go out and have a picnic. Brynlee went to sleep and I figured Jaxon and I would spend some quality "Mommy/Jaxon" time together. It was so much fun. Jaxon was so sweet and polite. I guess I need to take a little more one on one time with him. It really makes me appreciate him more and reminds me how lucky I am to be his mom. I love you Jaxon!!

If you look at the sky in the middle picture you can tell the rain was a skip and a hop away. We had just enough time to eat our lunch and pack up our blankets before the rain started. So much for my cutting down my Tulips and pulling the weeds idea.

Real Life Pig-Tails!!

Brynlee's hair is getting longer by the minute so I thought I would try something a little new. I have done pig-tails before on her but this time I pulled all the hair up from the sides too and put the ponytails down further on her head. She looked so cute. I love that she has so much hair!!!!

Happy 27th Birthday Josh!!!!

Well it was Josh's b-day on May 27th. He turned 27 years old. I think he is in denial about getting old. He had to work all day but they did take him out for pizza at lunch time, so that was nice of them. When he came home his birthday dinner was ribs with potatoes and beans. After dinner my family came over and he opened presents and had cake and ice cream. Jaxon loves presents so he was "helping" daddy unwrap all of his gifts. Josh's family had a BBQ on Memorial Day for him and gave him their gifts then. Happy Birthday hunny!!!!

"Peace Out Gangsta"

A couple weeks ago we spent the day at my mom's house. Just before going to the park we got Jaxon all ready with hat and sunglasses. This is Jaxon giving the "Peace Out" sign. Uncle Andy, this is for you!

New Car!!!!!!!!!

Well after 3 weeks of wondering what we were going to do about a car, my dad found one that will do just fine. Actually we are very excited about it. It is a Toyota 4runner, 2005 with only 29,000 miles on it! We got a great deal on it too! It was in an accident so my dad is going to fix it up for us, but at least we know that I will be able to leave my house by myself in about a month or so when the SUV is fixed up. I am so excited!!!!!! I can hardly wait. Thanks dad and we love you!!!!!! (I'll take pictures of it when we get it back.)

Getting bigger!

Well we had to take Brynlee into the doctor's office for a weight check again. She now weighs 12 lbs. 2 1/4 oz. The doctor said her weight gain looks great. So even though she continues to spit up what we think is everything she is eating, she is still gaining so that's a good thing.

Lions, Tigers, and Bears

After not having a car for a while it sure was nice to get out and go to the zoo with the kids and my friend Heidi and her little girl Aliyah. Jaxon had a hay-day. Here are a bunch of pics. Sorry there are so many.

Brynlee was worn out about half-way through. She was so great though. She didn't make a peep the whole time.
And I thought Jaxon's head was big. However, next to that Elephant skull it doesn't look that big.

Don't know if you can see it but the snakes head is laying right in the middle of the body and only inches from Jaxon head. It didn't bother him a bit but it sure gave me the heebie jeebies.

Hmmmmm..........

Jaxon has started doing this just lately. I'm not really sure where he learned it. He does it every time you ask him where something is and he acts like he has to think about it for a minute. It's so funny!

Baby Toys!

I finally brought up the saucer from down stairs for Brynlee to enjoy. However, Jaxon seems to be enjoying it a little more than she is. He got in there all by himself. It's not just a little small do you think?!!! haha

Brynlee has this new thing where when you growl at her she thinks it is so funny. She laughs a lot harder when Jaxon does it in front of her but this is all I could get from her. Enjoy!!

Brynlee at 4 Months!!!!!!

Well we went to the doctor on Monday for Brynlee's 4 month check up. She weighs in at 11 lbs. 3 1/2 oz. and a whoppin' 23 1/4" long. She has fallen from the 25% to the 10% for her age. She continues to spit up but we are use to it now. The doctor says she looks healthy. He told me she may be small but she sure is strong. He was quite impressed with her neck and leg strength. She will just be a petite little thing. We love her so much!!!!!!!!

There is one down side of being blessed with mounds of hair at birth. This little girl has the worst morning hair-do's I think I have ever seen. It sure is a good thing she is so cute! (I wish hair like that looked good on me:)

This morning had to have been my favorite! You can totally tell she had a good nights sleep with that hair. I didn't even touch it before I took this pic. This truly is how she woke up!
