Our Little Brynlee Boo!!
My Mom agreed to watch the kids on Saturday July 19th while we went to a wedding. When we came to pick the kids up Brynlee was now saying DaDa, clapping her hands, and Crawling! I guess if I ever think my kids need some catching up I'll just take them over to my parents house.
It's Raining, It's Pouring........
So yesterday I had promised Jaxon we would go to the park. So after packing a lunch and blanket to complete our picnic preparations off we went. We didn't even get to the top of the park (where the playground is) before it started sprinkling. They were some of the biggest drops I had ever seen! An not too many steps later it was POURING on us. I ran to the pavillion and took cover. We ate our lunch and waited for about an hour. All the while it continued to rain, hail, rain, and hail some more. Then all of a sudden the wind came out of nowhere and stared blowing the rain and hail into the pavillion. I decided to just make a run for it and head home. I covered the kids with the blanket that we had packed and I ran. I was soaked as soon as I got out from under the "cover" of the pavillion overhead. I was wearing sandals and it wasn't long before they were so wet I could no longer run in them without me falling off the shoe. I took them off and kept running. As I reached the top of my street it started to hail so hard that I had to take shelter behind somebody's vinyl fence. We stayed there for about a minute or so until I came to the conclusion that it really wasn't going to let up much so off we went again. I know that I looked like an idiot running in the pouring rain but what else was I to do??!!! Once we arrived home I was laughing so hard at how soaked I was that I had to take a picture.
This is Jaxon in the front seat of the stroller
This would be Brynlee
And here we are. I had already taken a shower that morning and done my hair and makeup. I guess Mother Nature decided I needed another one.

More Hair-do's
So I thought I would try that hair-do but with more pony's in it. I think it turned out pretty good.
Josh tells me he thinks Brynlee looks like a boy with her hair pulled off of her face. What do you think. I think that is the cutest little face EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Random Pics!
Like Father Like Son
Cute little bare bum
Josh decided that he would take Brynlee for a walk to try to get her to sleep last night. It didn't work.
Sorry these pics are so blurry. For some reason my camera was being really weird.
Summer Fun!
This past Monday Shanna invited us over to swim at Aunt Tammy's house. Jaxon was so excited! Here is some proof of the fun time we had.
Shanna was entertaining the kids with all her beautiful hair styles.
Jaxon swimming all by himself (yes that is a Dora body suit-thanks Evonne-,we didn't have a boy one)
Once he got the hang of it he wouldn't let me help him
This is how Brynlee and Layne spent the day.

Memories
Memory Lane...I got this from a friend's blog. I thought it would be fun! I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together (It can be a memory with either Josh or Shalae or both). It doesn't matter if you knew me/us a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. Have fun!!!

Update!
Just a quick update on the new house. It will be done by the end of July. They have all the countertops in and all the finish electrical and plumbing is finished as well. They even have the carpet in! They still have some painting to do and putting on some of the floorboards. Here are just a couple pictures. We still haven't had any luck with selling our house yet. We are hoping that is the next step. Alpine Homes said they would keep us on the 72 hour clause that we are on and then if they have a buyer then we can either tell them to go ahead and sell it or that we want it for sure. Hopefully we can sell ours before that ever happens. Cross your fingers!!!
The kitchen with the granite countertops
The master bathroom (at least the sinks/countertops part of it.)
Gone Fishin'
Josh had the day off on Friday and wanted to take Jaxon fishing with him. This is Jaxon first real time going fishing. He came home and told me that he caught a small fishy. He really didn't catch anything and Josh didn't even get to fish because he was helping Jaxon the whole time. He still had fun spending some father/son time together. He is such a handsome little man.
Learning how to cast
Just relaxin' in the sun

Look what I can do!!!
Brynlee's hair is getting so long I decided I would try something new. I think it turned out pretty cute!! I don't take after my mom in the whole hair stylist thing so this is quite the accomplishment. Brynlee did very well holding still for me. I didn't get the straightest parts but it's ok. I just thought I would share a picture of my "masterpiece". haha

New Car!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to my wonderful, beautiful, smart, handy dad, we now have a car that I can drive. You have no idea how great it is to be able to get around on my own and not to have rely on other people. I'm sorry for those of you who had to waste your gas money to come to my house to pick me up just so I could go do something. You are all wonderful. My dad is so amazing. This car was wrecked and he took his time to get this thing done so that I wouldn't be stuck home any longer than I had to. I love you Dad!!! It is so nice and drives so smoothly. It actually is getting better gas mileage than the internet says it is suppose to get so that's a bonus. It is so roomy and has a huge storage area in the back. The color is beautiful and we just absolutely LOVE it!! (These pictures don't do it justice because I still haven't gotten any batteries for my camera. So once again, I'm using my video camera.) Thank you so much dad. We truly do appreciate it more than words can express. We love you!
