Happy Happy Joy Joy!!

Last week when it was still pretty cold outside we decided to have a picnic in the house. Jaxon was so excited about it. All morning long he kept asking me if it was lunch time yet? Finally the time came and you can tell on their faces they had a fantastic time!

That was so much fun I guess we'll have to have alot more picnics in the future. (whether they be inside or outside.)

Happy Valentines Day and the Mopping Queen!

The other day I was getting ready to mop, and while I was filling up the bucket I looked down and Brynlee had taken the mop and decided she could do a better job than me. Look how cute she is, she even stopped to smile for the camera:)

For Valentines Day Josh and I have kind of made it a rule that we don't get each other gifts. However it never fails, every year he will get me flowers. He usually will get me Tulips since they are my favorite flower but this year he bought me a dozen roses! I do love Tulips but it sure is nice to get roses every once in a while. I love my husband so much. He is such a wonderful father to our kids and a great hubby to me. He is always willing to help with dinner if it's not 100% finished when he gets home and he helps out around the house as well. I don't know where I would be without him. He is the love of my life and my best friend. I Love You Joshua!

Christmas Gift!

Ok so I got this bedding set for christmas and never did post any pictures of it. I absolutely LOVE it! It was one of my favorite gifts. It's kind of hard to see because of the poor lighting and my poor picture taking skills but you get the general picture.

New Blanket

So there is this blog I check out all the time because it always has really cute, crafty ideas on it. I swear this girl is amazing!!! Anyhow, she posted a picture of these blankets and I decided I wanted to try to make one. It was alot harder than I thought it would be but it turned out cute. I thought about making them for baby gifts but my mind was quickly changed when it took me 2 days just to get the stinkin' ruffle to work out. So this is Brynlee's and she loves it.

Most Beautiful Kids in the World!!!!!!!!

So on Regis and Kelly they are doing a Beautiful Baby Contest. I really want to enter my kids but don't know which picture to send in of each of them. These are the options. A Bunch of Sickies!!!

This past week I have been up to my armpits in vomit!! Brynlee got sick on Sunday night and Jaxon came down with it Monday night. They both were so sick all week long and wouldn't do anything. All they wanted to do was be held and lay around. I was able to capture a couple pictures throughout the week.






Now that the kids are better Josh has come down with it. Poor guy! He was up all night sicker than a dog. I just hope that I'm not next!

Some Randomness

Brynlee won the Superbowl pot for the final score!! Yay!!! $80 to add to her bank account. (I think she is going to share with Jaxon and split it up somehow)

Happy Birthday Jaxon!!!

Well my little boy turned 3 years old last week. He is so funny. All last month when asked how old he was he would tell you he was 3. But as soon as he really turned 3 he now says he's 2. Jaxon had lots of fun on his birthday. He got to go to nursery which is one of his favorite things to do. He got lots of clothes and toys. We had family over that night for cake and icecream. Thanks to all that came. Jaxon loved having you all here, and he especially loved all the nice toys and clothes he got from all of you:) Here are a few things that I just love about my little man!!
1. He is always so sweet to Brynlee first thing in the morning. Like today he walked out and the first thing that came out of his mouth was "Hi Stinker" in this high pitched little voice. He just adores his sister.
2. I love it when he lays his head on my shoulder while sitting next to me and says "Mom, you're my best friend."
3. He is always willing to help me clean, whether it be vacuuming, sweeping, moping, picking up toys, etc. He loves to help out!
4. He loves to play games. But he always wants me to play them with him. It doesn't matter if it's something that he can play all by himself. He will beg me in this sweet little voice that I just can't resist. I think he knows I can't resist it too:)
5. He is so genuine when it comes to him saying sorry to Brynlee. If he does something that hurt her he will tell her sorry and kiss it better for her. He is such a great big brother.
Those are just a few things that I love about him. I could go on for days but I'm tired. Here are a few pics for your enjoyment!!

Here are the gifts from us. He is sitting right in front of them so he really got more than just 3 presents from us:)

I loved these shoes. They are so cute plus you tie them just like normal but they have a zipper down the side of the shoe so you don't have to ever untie them to get them on or off. Great find!!

Jaxon insisted on having a dog cake. This was as good as I could do. It turned out pretty cute I think:)
