Brynlee's 2nd Birthday!

Brynlee Boo about 12 hours old. My favorite pic of daddy and Brynlee. She had him wrapped at first sight:)

Brynlee turned 2 this past month! It's crazy how time flies by. I still remember the night my water broke! When she came out I was so surprised to see that it was a girl! I thought for sure she was going to be a boy. I was so happy and she was so beautiful! She is getting to be such a little person and I love it! Yes there are days that she pushes my buttons but I wouldn't trade her for the world. She loves to play with Jaxon and she's a great teaser. All she has to do is call Jaxon a baby and she has got him going:) She is very stubborn but she is quick to say please and thank you. She is starting to talk some more so it's making it easier for me to know what she wants. We went to the doctors for her 2 year check up and here are her stats:

Weight: 21 lbs. (that was fully dressed with full diaper. At home she is 20 lbs. even)

Height: 31 inches

She is still not on the charts but she is on an up-curve from where she was last time we went in, so that's good:) She is healthy and right on track. She may be small but she's adorable so I guess that's all that matters:) Happy Birthday Brynlee!

Jaxon couldn't help but open some of her presents with her. Brynlee is obsessed with cats so this was my attempt at a kitty for her.

Christmas Day!

Christmas Day always is a crazy day for us. We have lots of houses to hit but we wouldn't have it any other way:) We had to wake the kids up at 6:00 am on Christmas morning. I took 5 pics of the kids on the stairs and this is the best one. Jaxon's pile

Jaxon LOVED his remote control car and Brynlee couldn't get enough of her 4-wheeler.

She couldn't ride without her dog in her purse and her kitty house full of kitties:)

The whole crew! Tylor, Casey, Jordan, Jenny, Jaxon, and Brynlee

These were the only pics that I got of that day. Sorry but I wasn't really thinking about taking pics after the morning. Hope you all had a great holiday!

Christmas Eve Festivities!

So every year for Christmas Eve we go over to Josh's parents house and have an awesome dinner and then play games, read the story of Christ's birth, and get PJ's. It's always a great time spending time with family. This year was no different. We all had a great time. Jaxon got Hungry Hungry Hippos for winning Bingo and you would have thought he won the lottery. He was hillarious!! And Brynlee got a little kitty. She ofcourse loves it and has to sleep with it every night! Here are a few pics of the family! Kirsten in her PJ's that were big enough to fit 3 of her. A word of advice, if you normally wear a size 5 pants don't go buying yourself a large in PJ's!:)

Jaxon having a great time playing with Casey!

The kids in their jammies! Jaxon's have little dogs with different christmas hats/antler's on and Brynlee's have kittens coming out of christmas boxes. I thought they were too cute!

Josh got me some PJ's too. What a sweet hubby!

Oh Christmas Tree!

Ok so I know that I've been a total slacker on this blog so I'm going to try to get caught up in the next few days. For Christmas every year we go as a family and pick out a tree. (I am not a fan of the whole fake tree thing.) We went to Lowes this year since that's where we went last year and our tree lasted forever! And our tree this year didn't disappoint! It looked so great and stayed alive even though I forgot to water it one day:) oops Anyhow, Lowes had a great selection and it was hard to find just the right one, but we finally found it. We brought it home and decorated it that night as well. The kids loved it!
A few days later I had the kids decorate a small little tree that I have for decoration for the downstairs. Since this is the first year I have a finished basement we now need to go buy a fake tree to go down there. As I mentioned before I don't really like fake trees but I don't want to have to mess with the mess that a real tree makes downstairs as well as up stairs so a fake one will have to suffice:) Anyhow, that's on our list of things to buy next! Here are a few pics of all the activities!

Sorry all my pics are in the wrong order:(
