Brynlee's walking!! (Sort of)

Well on Oct. 23, 2008 Brynlee Boo took her first step. She has been standing alone for about a week now and she finally took the plunge. And yesterday the 26th she took 3 steps! I just can't believe how fast my baby is growing up. She is too small to be walking. I know it's part of life but it's kind of hard to see her do all this stuff. I want her to be a baby forever:) I am very excited for the next stages in her life though. And to see her love to be a little bit more mobile is fun. This little girls can just melt my heart sometimes.

Brynlee and Jaxon love to play on his little car. Brynlee sits and he pushes. They can do this for 30 min. sometimes. Here are a few cute picture I took of them. (Sorry about the messy hair-do on Brynlee)

Sniffing Brynlee!

Brynlee has started doing this sniffing thing this last 2 months or so. She does it when she doesn't want to eat anymore mostly but she'll do it on command if she wants to. I think it's pretty hillarious.

This is for you Andy:)

So my brother Andy is on his mission in Chile and he wanted me to put a video of Jaxon singing a church song on here so he could see him and how much he has grown since he left. Jaxon wasn't singing as loud as he does sometimes but I think it was because he was on camera. Anyhow, I thin k it's cute anyway. Enjoy!

New Dress

So this last month or so I have been trying to work on this dress for Brynlee. My friend Heidi found the pattern for it on some website and so we decided to make a few. Instead of having sleeves it's suppose to have straps. It's suppose to be more of a summer dress but I decided I wanted her to be able to wear it in the winter too. I had to make up my own pattern for the sleeves and stuff but all in all I think it turned out cute. I still need to do a few little touch-ups but it worked to go to church in yesterday. Isn't she cute??!!!!!

Boys will be boys AND the 2 newest members of the Crowther Family

So this past weekend I wasn't feeling too great so Josh was a nice husband and would get up with the kids in the mornings while I slept in a little. On Sunday morning however, Josh had been to a party the night before and not gotten home until 1:30am. When the kids woke up he put a movie on and put Brynlee in her Saucer and came back to bed. I could hear Jaxon bugging Brynlee and so I decided that I would get up with the kids and see what was going on. When I went out into the family room this is what I found:
Jaxon had gotten into my purse and pulled out my lip gloss. He thinks it's suppose to go on your eyelashes like mascara, hence the lip gloss all over Brynlee's eyes. (as well as everywhere else) I guess it's funner to put it on your sister than it is yourself. His face was actually quite easy to clean off. Brynlee's on the other hand..........

AND NOW INTRODUCING

HANNAH THE HIPPO AND SNOOFY THE DOG!!

These 2 new pets are gifts from Grandma Crowther. I have been trying to get Jaxon to name his other stuffed doggie but he refuses every name I throw out there. With this dog I threw a few names out and he rejected them, but then I said Snoopy and he said "YES". So I thought that's what it was until I started listening a little closer and noticed that he is saying Snoofy. He loves his little doggie and can't go anywhere in the house without it. I picked Hannah for Brynlee's Hippo because I figured that would be and easy name for her to learn. She loves Hannah. She gives her loves and kisses all the time and loves to cuddle her. Hannah is almost as big as Brynlee but I'm sure that as Brynlee grows she will continue to love Hannah as much as she does now. Thanks Gramma Crowther!!!

Brynlee

K so the other day I was in my room folding laundry on my bed and I looked over and found Brynlee laying down in my doorway trying to fall asleep. I guess she decided I was too boring for her.

Family Pictures

Well the time has finally come to get our family pictures done again. The last ones we had done were back in Oct. of 2006. Since we have added a member to the family I decided now was the time. They weren't the best we probably could have gotten but both kids were happy so we didn't have to settle for any crying pictures. To look at them just go to https://www.smilesbywire.com/home.asp?AC=LTPP0657106649JCPSHR
You then have to type in my first and last name. And there you can look at all the pictures they took. Enjoy!:)

Hiking

This last weekend we went hiking as a family. We also invited Josh's mom and sister to come along. He had a lot of fun. Jaxon loved the hike up to the lake. Brynlee did very well too. It's nice to spend some time with Josh when he's not working. The kids love their daddy!

Here is Josh and Jaxon after climbing a rock wall

Jaxon throwing sticks in the lake At the top of our hike. He's not even worn out!

The crew (minus Josh the picture taker) This little hike made me realize how out of shape I am. I really need to work on that!

Brynlee's 9 Months Old!

So last week I took Brynlee to the doctor for her 9 month check-up. She now weighs in at 14 lbs. 9 oz. and is 25 1/2 inches long. She is staying right in the 5th % for her height and head circumference but she is now off the charts on the low end for her weight. I guess she's just not meant to be a big girl. She is very healthy and the Doctor thinks she doing great developmentally. We love her very much and she is so fun to have around.

This is how she woke up from her nap the other day. The braid is not suppose to be standing straight up in the air.
Here is Jaxon. There is something about those Pull-ups that just call to him. He thinks this is how you are suppose to wear them. He's so funny!
